Resourceful Futures Community Support Ltd is a Not for Profit service agency primarily funded by Persons with Developmental Disabilities, Calgary Region Community Board to provide Community Inclusion Supports to Adults with Disabilities in Calgary and surrounding areas.

Resourceful Futures provides each individual the opportunity to develop community awareness, life skills and personal interest by exploring community facilities, services, events/activities and whatever else that may be available to the public.

2010-2013 Strategic Planning

 

On June 8, 2010, Resourceful Futures leadership team and Board members hosted a one-day strategic planning session to develop a three-year strategic plan for RFCSL facilitated by Chris MacFarlane, PhD, of Possberg & Associates Ltd (403.241.2220).  RFCSL would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to the invited guests who graciously spent the day with RFCSL leadership team and openly shared their ideas and expertise.  The invited guests included Melanie Mitra, CEO, Prospect; Vince Kimura, CEO, Foothills Advocacy in Motion; Helene de Klerk, Program Director, New Age Services; Michelle Cole and Corinne Thomas with the Standards and Accreditation Department, Alberta Council of Disability Services.  

 

RFCSL is excited to announce that we have achieved the following results from the planning session:

  • Revised Vision Statement
  • Revised Mission Statement
  • Revised Core Operating Values
  • Strategic goals that focus on:  Service Excellence, Human Resources Development, Resource Development and Management and External Relations and Communication

 

Armed with the 2010-2013 Strategic Plan, RFCSL leadership team and Board members will now move forward focusing on RFCSL's objectives, i.e., priorities essential to implement the strategic goals and address the strategic issues ensuring long-term success of our organizational outcomes.

 

Once again, RFCSL would like to express our sincere appreciation to Chris MacFarlane,PhD, Possberg Associates Ltd. for facilitating this invaluable session/process and to our invited guests/colleagues who dedicated an entire day for the development of RFCSL's Strategic Planning Session.  This was truly a community collaboration and partnership engagement.
