I am honored to have been appointed as RFCSL’s new Operations and Financial Director. In this role, I oversee all financial aspects of the company, including managing expenses and receipts, ensuring contract compliance, and maintaining accurate financial records in accordance with acceptable accounting principles. My responsibilities also include developing budgets, conducting monthly financial reviews and reports, supervising annual audits by external auditors, and liaising with funders. I report directly to Rob Halfyard, the CEO.
As the Operations Director, I am responsible for both administrative and financial functions, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the organization. I play a crucial role in creating and maintaining a positive and productive work environment, fostering a culture of communication, collaboration, and safety. Some of my specific duties include assisting with IT support, managing budgets and expenses, and coordinating office policies and procedures. My comprehensive approach ensures that RFCSL operates effectively and efficiently, contributing to the organization’s overall success.
