RFCSL writing to share some deeply sad news with you. It is with a heavy heart inform you of the passing of our esteemed Owner and CEO, Rob Halfyard, who left us on November 6, 2024. This loss is profoundly felt across RFCSL, and we are all grappling with the impact of his departure. Rob Halfyard was more than just our CEO; he was a visionary leader, a mentor, and a friend to many. His dedication and passion for RFCSL were evident in every decision he made and every project he undertook. Rob’s leadership not only propelled our company to new heights but also fostered a culture of innovation, integrity, and community. His legacy will continue to inspire us all.
Personal Anecdotes
Rob was known for his open-door policy, always making time to listen to Clients & employees’ ideas and concerns. One of his favorite sayings was, “A good idea can come from anyone, anywhere.” This belief in the value of every team member’s contribution helped create a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Many of us have personal experience with his great sense of humor during RFCSL events. These events were not just about team building but also about having fun and creating lasting memories. Whether it was his enthusiastic participation in the culture events or his heartfelt speeches in the day program or any other meetings, Rob’s presence made these gatherings truly special.
Rob’s commitment to community service was another hallmark of his leadership. He often led volunteer initiatives, encouraging us all to give back. One memorable project was the Cochrane Christmas show at Cochrane, where Rob worked alongside volunteers, His hands-on approach and genuine care for the community left a lasting impact on everyone involved.

In light of this tragic event, we must also address a pressing issue affecting our operations. We are currently working diligently to establish a concrete organizational structure to ensure the continuity and stability of our company.
